2015 in Review

You may have noticed a lack of regular posts over the last month or so. This has partly been because I decided to take a break and enjoy my December holiday. The other reason is that I’ve been thinking about where I want to take my blog.

2015 was a pretty good year for The Triangular Room, with my best stats yet, but blogging is also something that takes quite a lot of my time. Often, that time was spent on posts that get very few views. So looking at what was popular on my blog last year, I am leaning towards focusing my time on posts that people seem to enjoy reading, and those that I enjoy writing.

In case you were curious, these were my top posts in 2015:

  1. 7 Tips & Tricks for The Sims 4
  2. 8 Wishes for The Sims 4
  3. LEGO Minifigure Series 14
  4. Pathfinder Random Race Tables
  5. Pathfinder for Beginners: Ability Scores by Class
  6. Review: Pathfinder Unchained
  7. Keeping Up with the Joneses Chapter 23*
  8. Pathfinder: Captain America Build
  9. DIY LEGO Display Case
  10. Why I Play Roleplaying Games

*I don’t know why this particular chapter is the most popular. My best guess is that it’s because it’s where an unfortunate Sim died of embarrassment.

So in 2016, I’ll be continuing to blog, but on a less rigid schedule. I’ll still have my weekly Sims legacy challenge story, because I do enjoy writing those, but for now I won’t be continuing my other weekly series. I’m going to continue my fortnightly voice actor posts over on SA Gamer, and I may continue my minifig and story cube posts in another form. I want to expand my Pathfinder for Beginners series, and also write about board games as well. I’m aiming to do at least one post a week, besides the regular Sims story.

If you enjoy reading my blog and would like to see more of a certain kind of post, feel free to let me know here or on social media.
