Keeping Up with the Joneses #119

Jones Family Legacy

With Felicia’s passing, Genesis felt the full weight of her responsibilities as heir. She tried valiantly to balance her career aspirations with her family responsiblities. She knew she was close to cracking her very first case. All she had to do was put together the evidence and identify a suspect.

While on patrol at the gym, Genesis spotted a Sim who met the description of her perp! Genesis made the arrest while surprised gym-goers looked on.

Genesis whisked her suspect into an interrogation room. She then spent the next few hours grilling the Sim, trying to get her to crack. Genesis’s co-workers were a little surprised to see her still working long hours so late in her pregancy, but Genesis was determined.

After what seemed like forever, the suspect finally admitted that she had in fact stolen Mrs Smith’s lawn gnomes as a joke. Genesis kept a calm exterior, but was delighted that she had finally worn this criminal down, and solved her first case in the process! Mrs Smith’s lawn gnomes were returned and the perpetrator was fined, and forced to do community service tending Mrs Smith’s garden.

At the Jones residence, life was much the same as ever. Ed spent a lot of time scaring random visitors with his mind-reading powers.

Meanwhile, Felicia decided to pay the family a visit to see how they were doing in her absence. As in life, she was not impressed by Glen’s antics. He was ever a disappointment to her.

Aliens all but moved along out of my game! I never really gotten into Get to Work expansion. Maybe I should give it a bash when my current teen Sim aged up to YA.

I quite enjoyed the expansion, but having finished the active careers once each, I’m not sure I would do it again. They’re way more time consuming than normal careers.
